i might be wrong but keep an eye on space weather over the next couple of days, there is something brewing with our sun, there is a highly active sun spot region that has been erupting, and is about to face the earth, normally nasa updates the site daily, but all has gone quiet!!! i might be wrong, but if you look at the video feed from Sunday the active region should be facing directly at us on Tuesday, i don't know what sort of hit the earth will get from the radiation cloud, at the least it will warm us up and give us a good light show and storms, at the worst it could knock out some power grids. the reason i am suspicious is because nasa have gone quiet, maybe its nothing but just wanted to get it out there, apart from that the weather is getting freaky it is warmer in the day in October than in august, thanks BP for all your hard work screwing ip the weather, i was looking forward to a long hot summer!!!!

Arizona struck by FOUR tornados in a single day, wrecking homes and destroying vehicleslink

Arizona was hit by a rare swarm of tornados on Wednesday with four twisters ripping through parts of the state causing considerable damage.
The region usually experiences only four tornados during the entire year but an extraordinary 22 extreme weather warnings were issued yesterday.
There have been no reports of any casualties as a result of the freak weather but numerous homes and vehicles were destroyed.

'The hammering that northern Arizona is getting right now is exceptional,' Ken Waters, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Phoenix, said.
'It's not uncommon this time of year to have one or two tornado reports or a warning, but this is quite an outbreak.'

Around 30 houses in Bellemont are reported to have been severely damaged with residents evacuated and moved to temporary shelters.
A camper van park off the Interstate 40 was also struck, with dozens of vans blown over. The resulting debris was strewn across local roads causing traffic chaos.

Several train carriages were also derailed as a result of the tornado.
The tornados were the result of a low-pressure system which had been parked over central and southern California but is now drifting northwards.
Earlier in the week the weather system moved across the west of the U.S. dropping a record amount of rain in northern Nevada.
In Utah on Tuesday two teenagers were hospitalised after being struck by lightning outside their school.
