Antarctica highest September snowfall on recordlink

Submitted by admin on October 17, 2010 – 6:49 am10 Comments
From NOAA news;
  • Antarctic sea ice reached its annual maximum in September. September 2010 was the third largest sea ice extent on record (2.3 percent above average), behind 2006 (largest) and 2007 (second largest).
  • According to Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology, the continent received an average precipitation of 1.91 inches (48.4 millimeters) during September — this is nearly double the 1961–1990 average and the highest September value on record.
Keep in mind that at an average temperature of -60d celcius extra precipitation is SNOW. And a new record. But don’t expect the MSM to report it – instead this is what you will get from the lamestream media.  Meanwhile global warming still gets great grant money! And finally some common sense! More reality checks at Fabius Maximus.

Hurricane Tomas lashes Caribbean islandslink

Position of Tomas at 1745 GMT Tomas could strengthen again as it moves westwards
Hurricane Tomas has lashed islands in the eastern Caribbean, bringing down electricity poles and ripping roofs off houses.
Heavy rain and sustained winds of 75mph (120km/h) have struck St Lucia and St Vincent in the Windward Isles.
Barbados had also earlier suffered damage from the Category 1 storm, though no deaths have been reported.
There are fears the westward track of Tomas could take it near earthquake-ravaged Haiti later in the week.
Festival cancelled The US National Hurricane Centre said that at 1800 GMT, Tomas was located about 10 miles north-east of St Lucia, heading westwards out to sea.
By the middle of the week it could strengthen to a Category 3 or 4 hurricane, south of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Barbados, Tobago, Grenada and Dominica have had storm warnings, while a hurricane warning was posted for St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia and Martinique.
Winds ripped off roofs of a hospital and a school in the eastern village of Dennery in St Lucia.
The island's largest Creole festival was cancelled.
The biggest fear is that Tomas could affect Haiti, where around 1.5 million survivors of January's earthquake are living in tented camps vulnerable to high winds and heavy rain.
Haiti has already been stricken recently by a cholera outbreak that has left more than 300 people dead.
Imogen Wall, UN humanitarian spokeswoman in Haiti, told Reuters news agency: "A hurricane is one of the things we've been preparing for... but we're stretched to capacity handling the cholera epidemic.
"It's obviously the last thing Haiti needs."

*Pre-election bomb plot a political boost for Obama ~ link ~ Sadly there is a large percentage of the population that does not question whatever crap the mainstream news media dishes out to them.  It is like these folks are totally incapable of independent analytical thought.  And they make up a large percentage of the electorate.  link

Election Time vs Terrorist Attack

Though the administration has declined to raise the terror alert level, the very public nature of the Yemen bomb plot is seen as giving President Obama and incumbent Congressional Democrats a much-needed political shot in the arm, conveniently enough just days before the midterm elections.

The plot gave an opportunity for President Obama to look “presidential,” experts say, as he gave a high profile speech vowing “any steps necessary” to see al-Qaeda’s Yemeni affiliate destroyed.

The fact that by all accounts no explosives appear to have actually gotten to the United States also likely plays to the administration’s advantage, and indeed the advantage of all incumbents, who can claim that the “system worked” in this regard even as they promise major new foreign policy ventures in retaliation.

Recent polls had showed Democrats taking big hits in the upcoming Midterm election, and President Obama’s campaigning doing very little to help. The consequences of a shift in the popular interest away from the economy and onto hawkish rhetoric about revenge attacks against al-Qaeda at the last minute could be significant, and might well mean that the massive losses the incumbents were facing will no longer apply.

*The Apocalypse is one of Your Best Friends ~ link ~
They’re not just arrogant. They’re not just clumsy. They’re not just drunk or taking their own bad pharmaceuticals. They are transparent. In our minds an apocalypse has a negative connotation… uh huh… if we happen to be negative. If you did kill a lot of people for personal gain and have been at pains to suppress it then ‘apocalypse’ is not a happy meal and Jack the Ripper is wearing a Ronald McDonald suit.

It’s unfortunate how so much of the focus is on Iran while Saudi Arabia is getting billions to manifest bristling and massive defense systems and all of these defense systems are to defend lies. Now they keep making more lies. Their power is draining. As more and more people see the ridiculous inconsistencies between planes that never came from Yemen with printing cartridges that look like a kid’s electric, circuit board kit, I’m thinking even the committed political party materialists; Fox News, Newsmax, Peephole Magazine, Oprah Winfrey and come to Jesus funda-money, ‘rapture me with a swipe card’ people are picking up on it now.

The game is up so you can expect them to go for desperation and I can only hope that there is someone involved who still has some honor and any feeling for humanity who screws up the coming false flag and a lot of people don’t have to die. I’m hoping personal gain will win out and one of them will betray the others. I’m hoping any numbers of positive scenarios are going to happen. I am asking, I am insisting I am appealing, I am commanding, I command that you screw up this thing right in front of the whole world.
