Gulf
of Mexico oil gusher causing slow down in Gulf stream --->>>
Europe will freeze early and longer --->>> will need more
energy of heating......

Greetings Everyone, I became aware of the Gulf Stream issue many years ago and have watched this failure take place for a very long time because I am
a Scuba Diver.  I have been in the Gulf Stream current many times and
in earlier years, I did what is called Drift Diving in the Gulf Stream
because you were at the mercy of the Gulf Stream when you entered in.
It was a fun ride to be shot out of a Water Cannon over a deep wall
that went a mile into total blackness while we rode the current in full
sunlight 80 feet below the surface.  But that day is over!  Today the
Gulf Stream is sick and dying!

I have pointed out to many unbelievers over the years how the Thermohaline Conveyor keeps the world alive and how Global Warming
actually causes an Ice Age, not an over heating and cooking the earth
condition.  Well, now we have a dual problem.  The Earth truly is
heating up because of Electrical Excitation from the Sun but what is
causing the Sun to become so active electrically?  Is it just the
position it resides in, in space?  Is it Planet-X?  Is it because we
will be crossing the Galactic Equator soon?  Is it all of these things
rolled into one?  I for one don’t know the reason FOR the problem but I
do know there IS a problem.  All I know is that the Thermohaline
Conveyor is dying and that will cause us to go into an Ice Age in
Months, not Years.  This truly is the end of the age because the people
on earth have a serious problem going on and most don’t even realize
it.

The Gulf Oil spill has done more damage than people realize.  Whether BP was guilty of a crime or not is not the issue here.  The end result is that the Gulf Stream
has now been further compromised and the water in places is full of oil
a mile deep….but that bit of news is being kept “Secret” from those who
sleep walk through life.

So now the problems with the Gulf are much worse than we can ever imagine unless we understand the delicate balance that goes on between dark and
light water, salt water and fresh water, hot and cold water.  It is a
pumping action that keeps the Conveyor moving, pumping if you will.
This moves the weather patterns around the world, keeps the Gulf Stream
active, feeds the fish, causes it to rain on the land and on and on.
The Trade Winds and all winds will be changed.

The problem we are having now is the North Sea Current is already dead.  The Gulf Oil spill has helped to kill what little pumping action that
was taking place because of all the chemicals [oil dispersants] that
were put in the water as well as the heavy mineral release from the
deep well leak.  The Gulf Stream is now NOT making it’s full loop and
this is literally the handwriting on the wall for planet earths
inhabitants.   It truly IS that bad my friends!

This is going to cause weather pattern changes like we have never seen before.  Rain, Floods, Winds, Storms and besides all that, earth is
wobbling like it has never wobbled before in recorded history.

I welcome Your comments,
Michael

Trapped drivers rescued as floods hit Cornwalllink

Car in flood water Drivers have been advised to use extreme caution
Search and rescue helicopters have been used to free people trapped in cars and homes in flood water in Cornwall.
Heavy rain and gale-force winds have caused severe disruption across the county.
Main roads have been closed, a landslide at Lostwithiel has stopped train services in and out of Cornwall and some schools have been shut.
There have been no reports of serious injuries, but people are being advised not to travel.
Bodmin, St Austell, Par, Luxulyan, Lostwithiel, St Blazey and St Blazey Gate have been badly affected and in Portloe an empty car was swept into the harbour.
Helicopters from RNAS Culdrose and RMB Chivenor rescued trapped drivers near St Blazey.
A spokesman from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said coastguard teams were working with emergency services to evacuate flooded buildings across coastal communities, with the incident elevated to "gold command".
Cars under water All the county's main trunk roads and travel routes have been affected.
The A30 is closed across Bodmin Moor after a lorry shed its load, the A390 is closed between St Austell and Par and part of the A38 through Glynn Valley has also been closed.
Flood water of up to 6ft (2m) was reported in some places.
In Lostwithiel, there have been reports of cars under water.
Lostwithiel resident Derek Baynton told BBC News: "When I looked out of my window an hour ago I feared a Boscastle-type situation.
"The worst of the rain is over, but the water's still flowing down Quay Street in both directions."
Cornwall Council said fire crews have been deployed and police were advising motorists to drive with extreme caution.
Peter Tatlow, from Cornwall Highway Services, said although a severe weather warning was issued by the Met Office on Tuesday, it was "almost impossible" to keep gullies clear of leaves and debris at this time of year.
The A390 is partially blocked in both directions in Gunnislake due to a fallen tree.
The Met Office said the severe weather should clear eastwards later.

In climate world, up is down

Update and brief review below by Ryan Maue…
From Reuters Alert Net: Colder winters possible due to climate change-study
* Colder winters possible in northern regions
* Shrinking sea ice causes airstream anomalies
* Finding does not conflict with global warming
BERLIN, Nov 16 (Reuters) – Climate change could lead to colder winters in northern regions, according to a study by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research on Tuesday.

Vladimir Petoukhov, lead author of the study, said a shrinking of sea ice in the eastern Arctic causes some regional warming of lower air levels and may lead to anomalies in atmospheric airstreams, triggering an overall cooling of the northern continents.
“These anomalies could triple the probability of cold winter extremes in Europe and northern Asia,” he said. “Recent severe winters like last year’s or the one of 2005/06 do not conflict with the global warming picture but rather supplement it.”

Ryan Maue Update: It took me some doing to find this study in the Journal of Geophysical Research Atmospheres.  The study is fine as constructed, but why is this worthy of a press release?
This study employs a climate model to determine the sensitivity of the atmospheric circulation to sea-ice concentration.  The ECHAM5 model is used with T42 spectral resolution (that is 2.8×2.8 degree longitude/latitude spacing !!!) and 19 vertical levels.  This is about the model setup of NCEP’s operational weather forecasting models in the 1980s.  Six “simulations” (or scenarios) were performed of 100 years duration with differing sea-ice concentration in the Barents-Kara (B-K) sector.  Their results are therefore 100-year averages obtained from the simulations.
The conclusions are not conclusive at all but very equivocal in nature.  This is contrary to the press release.  Since European winter climate is strongly controlled by a host of climate modes such as ENSO, NAO, AO, PDO, etc., their study cannot include the non-linear interplay between the actors and their sea-ice concentration scenarios.  This is a very idealized experiment with results that are very preliminary when it comes to relating to the true atmosphere.  There is no analysis of the 2005/2006 winters to determine if indeed the sea-ice mechanism was responsible for the cooler winter.
The study’s conclusions with respect to future climate change are very speculative to say the least.  This is the case with many of these types of climate scenario experiments.  Step one is to find a phenomenon that goes against the AGW consensus:  here it is a cold winter in the Northern Hemisphere.  Step two is to construct an experiment which explains the phenomena in the context of AGW.  Step three is to connect step 2 to step 1 and issue a press release containing facts not in evidence.

RSS global temperature anomaly takes a divelink

I haven’t covered the Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) dataset much lately, since not a lot of interesting things have been happening with it. October 2010 though is a different story. There’s been quite a significant drop in the RSS global surface temperature. Here’s the data plot:

Source: ftp://ftp.ssmi.com/msu/monthly_time_series/rss_monthly_msu_amsu_channel_tlt_anomalies_land_and_ocean_v03_2.txt
More info on Remote Sensing Systems here
The drop from July is significant, and very steep, losing more than half of the temperature anomaly since then. The last time we were near this temperature was one year ago, in October 2009, when RSS reported 0.282°C The rise and the fall of global temperature this past year approximates a square wave. A moderate to strong El Niño followed by a strong La Niña is the cause.
The southern hemisphere has dropped the most. Here’s a much larger comparison plot between the Global Anomaly. the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere:

The UAH Global Temperature anomaly data also reported a drop in October, through not as steep, and remains higher.
